    For day 8 I worked on an unsent letter to my ex. Writing it helped me express feelings I wasn’t able to acknowledge at the time, especially anger, frustration, and the sense of losing myself in that relationship.

    I became more aware of how often I suppressed my emotions to keep the peace, and how my own traits, being responsible, accommodating, and perfectionistic were reinforced in that dynamic. Seeing this clearly on paper felt relieving rather than overwhelming.

    This exercise helped me understand how much emotional energy I’ve carried for a long time, and how important it is for me to recognize and respect my own boundaries moving forward.
