Thought I'd follow what the activity says and make a real post for today.
I posted on the general forum a week ago, thanks for those that responded, particularly in helping me find this program. In just a couple short weeks, I have actually made way more progress than I thought I would with my back pain. Ironically it's actually pretty bad right now, but I'm not worried, since usually the pain now only lasts for a couple hours, and will come and go, whereas before it was 24/7. Yesterday I was able to walk for over a half hour, and sit up in an uncomfortable chair for a couple hours. Doesn't sound like much, but the fact that I had basically no pain all day even with those activities is a HUGE deal to me. I feel like I have hope for my life to come back! I don't take any pills at all now, whereas before I was taking tylenol, ibuprofen, and muscle relaxers all day every day, with the occasional oxycodone pill every few days.
Seems like this post sort of turned into a success story, but I know I still have a lot of progress to make. But why not celebrate the start of a success story! So happy I found this community!
Currently most struggling with balancing trying to remember and feel past traumas, while not getting stressed out about them and that making the pain worse lol. If anyone has any advice on this let me know!
