I've accepted that many of the issues I have and have had in the past are TMS: IBS, back pain, hand numbness, and neuroma.
I'm having a harder time with a few other things though. I've realized through reading that nausea and loss of appetite are also TMS. The loss of appetite is a little easier to accept, because it does happen to me very sporadically and I know it's related to anxiety.
But the nausea has been around so much of my adult life that it almost feels normal! Doctors have never found a reason for it, other than motion sickness. So, I think I need to work on accepting that just because a symptom has been around for a long time, doesn't mean that it should be!
