Day 4. Q: What is the most disheartening thing Doctors have told you about your symptoms?

A: for my right foot at age 21, I was told I would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 40 yo. He was totally wrong! I have had to use a walking stick & walker at times but have never needed a wheelchair & I am now 54 yo.
For my M.E/CFS at age 43 I was told there is no cure or medication & was given a FODMAPS diet. I immediately started researching & changed my diet which helped immensely. Again the doctor was wrong because I have used medications which have helped. I also took MitoQ for a year & doubled my energy. I thought I was going to fully recover my old life. It did not last but it is an indicator that my symptoms are TMS/MBS.
The fact doctors have been wrong & so many have recovered through Dr Sarno & Howard Schubiner give me great hope for my future. I have been much happier & feeling positive about my life & future since starting this course. I am grateful! Thank you for reading, my TMS community!

 

Yes! I used to think drs knew all....but that is not the case at all. They are incentivized by pharmaceuticals more than anything else!!

 

True dat! And educated by them more than natural & holistic alternatives...so glad I'm here! Finally!

 

Doctors do get things so wrong, and what's worse is that they'll never admit when they are wrong or simply don't know something. I am happy to hear you're feeling more positive, you've got this!
