    Good morning,

I have had a good two days with very little back/leg pain and even took a walk yesterday and did some yard work.

After my big flare up with back/leg/ and foot pain, I laid very low for over a month and a half. After a treatment by my DO and digging into this SEP I am feeling 90% better. So much better that I ventured to take a walk yesterday. I called my sister while walking which probably helped to quiet my fearful brain. It was a great walk. I then decided to do some yard work and that was great as well. I found my thigh muscles getting tight after the last project and noted that I had had enough for the day. I am grateful to be feeling better, to not be in pain, to be greatly limiting my activities.

There is this lingering fear that it will return but I am feeling more convinced that my flareup was TMS and am trying to pay better attention to my emotions that need some recognition.

Brilliant! And flares when it comes to TMS are completely normal, there's no such thing as going backwards (unless you let your belief in TMS unwind) and there's nothing to fear about them from a recovery perspective (I appreciate they aren't fun) :)
