I have had chronic lower back and sciatica pain of various degrees for the past 3 years. I have underwent all physical treatments including surgery. None of these fixed the problem. I have always felt best when I commit to TMS practices but find it difficult to fully commit and the problem always comes back. I currently am able to run, work and take care of everyday life with minimal pain but sitting causes increased pain with duration. I hope to be able to commit every thought in my head that I am strong physically and mentally and my pain is purely mental and I will get better.

Interesting that sitting is one of your triggers. I wonder if sitting is tied to work? Maybe an inner judgment of being "lazy" because you're not up doing something? Maybe your brain senses it as a threat outside of the actual physical position that you're in. Something to ponder as you go along...
