Day 1

After a lifetime of varied physical issues and sporadic struggles with depression but Drs. always telling me I'm so healthy, I became aware of the mind-body connection and TMS. It fascinates me. To be honest, I still feel a bit of hesitation simply because so many of the people close to me (who I also believe have mind-body pains) think this is pseudo-science. It's been difficult for me, though I've made much progress in recent years, to accept, motivate, and validate myself instrisically without external approval or encouragement. I decided to begin the Ed.Program out of curiosity and interest.

Welcome to the forum and Day 1 of the SEP, @mcl! As we always say here, at some point, what have you got to lose by trying something completely different? And this community is here to help and support you.

This is a tough one. The proof comes with just doing it. I still have friends who don't think it's for them, but they also acknowledge that it worked for me!
