Dr. Zafirides Chronic Pain In Parents Linked To Chronic Pain In Children

Peter Zafirides

Physician
Hi everyone,

I talked about this study on chronic pain briefly on the podcast last week, but here is the link if you want to read more about it:

http://www.thehealthymind.com/2012/11/23/chronic-pain-in-parents-is-linked-to-chronic-pain-in-children/

Researchers found a link between parents in chronic pain and an increased likelihood of chronic pain in their children.

This certainly seems to suggest a mind-body connection rather than anatomy or injury.

I hope you find the information helpful.

Kindly,
Dr. Zafirides

My grandmother (in the early 1900s) carried sacks of coal on her back.
No wonder she had back pain.
I wonder what her TMS was. Probably worry about money.

I carry worry about money (and other things) on my back and get back pain.
My subconscious hasn't quite relieved it yet. But I'm better after 10 weeks of Sarno and Brady.
