Hey everyone,
I used to have major back pain that prevented me from doing pretty much anything in life. Realizing it was TMS cured that pain that had lasted two years! I have been close to posting on the success stories subforum, but I've had a lingering hand injury that has prevented me from fully being healthy and living my best life.
Right after my back got better, I went fishing and fell hard on a rock in the creek on my outstretched hand. Hurt quite a bit, had a nasty swollen bruise for a while. Eventually I went to the doctor, X-rays came back negative, and was prescribed a brace to wear for my thumb joint/wrist. Wore it for the full two weeks, and it felt like it was getting better, until I played tennis a few days ago, and the pain has all come back. It doesn't quite hurt so bad when I use it, but it hurts a lot the next day after activity (like tennis, playing the piano, paddleboarding). It's been six weeks now since what felt like a minor injury, so I'm starting to think it could be TMS. I can't see any swelling or bruising, but it hurts to push on it. Should I try treating it from a TMS approach like I did for my back? I'm just nervous because I am starting a tennis coaching job next Tuesday (which I'm so excited for! I had to quit it initially because of my back) and I don't want to make it worse or have lingering pain for months. What do you all think?
Tl;dr - can TMS manifest as a bruise (can't see it, only can feel it) in the hand?
As a side note, I am really so grateful to be able to go out fishing and get injured haha. Also this pain from my hand affects my life like 5% whereas my back was 95%, so I don't have it too bad!
