Anyone read it? I'm about 3/4 through now. Very dense and scientific but interesting.

You are leaving us dangling, @Rusty Red! What is so captivating about the book? What is the scientific premise?

So she worked on possible cures for AIDS and found the opiate receptor, but it also led her to work on the mindbody link, that the peptides and chemicals we have were found everywhere, not just brain or body but brain and body. Those peptides drive emotion and travel all through the body, brain, immune system. She essentially established the scientific evidence of the mindbody as one system instead of separate and was a leader in the psychoneuroimmunology field.
