Most of my TMS pain over the years has been in my upper and mid back with the occasional low back twinge! Yesterday I felt like I was making a break through on thinking psychologically so my pain increased in my upper back. Now this morning I reached down to pay a parking meter (which is NO BIG DEAL) and had shooting pain in my low back. Normally I would be scared and think my back "went out", but I should be happy right!?!? The TMS pain is fighting back, right? Plus I was being very impatient, self-critical, and angry this morning on my commute i.e. emotions played a role in my low back flare up!
