Article on Sarno and Chronic Pain in NY Times

I believe the same article is available without a pay wall here:

https://www.cloudhosting.tv/deep-mind/i-have-to-believe-john-sarnos-book-cured-my-chronic-pain-the-new-york-times.php (I Have to Believe John Sarno’s Book Cured My Chronic Pain – The New York Times – Cloud Hosting)

The article is in part an homage to Sarno but is not solely that. As just one example: “Dr. Sarno's theory that our brain uses pain to distract us from negative emotions by cutting off blood flow to the muscles is not backed up by science, according to Dr. Wager.” Dr. Wager is neuroscientist Tor Wager, who collaborated with Alan Gordon and Dr Howard Schubiner on the Boulder Back Pain Study.

I remember that article when it came out, but I can't remember if I posted it or not, knowing that it was behind the NYT paywall - although many news outlets will give an IP address a few reads per month.
