A qoute from Kung Fu Panda which I find helpful during this recovery

Master Oogway mentions a beautiful quote in the Kung Fu Panda movie which I felt resonates with recovery.

Oogway: Let go of the illusion of control.
Shifu: Illusion?
Oogway: Yes.

Oogway: Look at this tree, Shifu: I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time.

I go back to this quote whenever I am having a flare up or a setback . I cannot control how/why it happens but I can definitely control how I react to it . It helps me in letting go of the frustration that I can control my healing journey. As healing is supposed to be messy . If you have the time watch this clip on YouTube . Its beautiful .
