Day 4 A lifelong condition

The most disheartening thing a doctor told me about my symptoms is that they may be lifelong. In the case of long COVID, they simply shrug and say it's so new, we don't know. In the case of daily headache from long COVID, my neurologist told me it could be a lifelong condition. I've kept it in my mind in the way that I've accepted it and almost become resigned to managing daily pain. You kind of have to learn to take it in stride in order to cope and keep going. Learning about TMS is challenging this notion because for the first time, I feel like I don't just need to manage my chronic pain, I could actually cure it.
