My Story
I have had neck, shoulder and arm pain and pain in my right side for around 10 years, with a first pause of 4 weeks in May last year. It started with neck stiffness and numbness and tingling in the left shoulder/neck area in 2006 and after two years these sensations disappeared and changed into pain that alternately occured on the left or right side of my neck/shoulder, sometimes it would change within very short periods of time. As obviously everybody here, I tried almost everything possible, went to a bunch of doctors, physiotherapists and osteopaths and although I achieved symptoms relief and an improvement of my overall situation, but never a real cure and, in particualar, never a real change of my focus. I was given Healing Back Pain couple of weeks ago and in the meantime (and having also read Steven Ozanich's book and while still reading The Divided Mind) I am fully aware of the fact that I have TMS. However, receiving and giving support seems to be a gread idea, as TMS-related pain for such a long time has meant a lonesome struggle. - Loading...
