I was a mere 13 years old, constantly seeking more. Deleting history, sneaking around at night, doing all I could to hide my new favorite habit... I was completely consumed. But really, what harm could it do? It's not like I will do it forever, right?
Do you have a similar story, regardless of your age? Well, let me relate to you so you know that you are not alone. I saw porn at 10, became hopelessly addicted by 13 and was living in a fog for my entire teen life. When I finally had sex I realized I was dealing with some problems I just could not accept... Delayed Ejaculation, Erectile Dysfunction, and Low Arousal. Not to mention the Lack Of Focus and Dwindling Productivity I had at work, porn was ruining my life.
When I met Helena, life took a turn for the better... but sadly, my porn addiction continued to affect my everyday. I had to tell her 2 months into Marriage that I was watching porn and masturbating while she slept... and sadly, I continued to do so for another 6 months.
On my 25th Birthday, I had enough... I was sick of failing as a Christian, a Husband, an Entrepreneur, and a Human Being... That day began a journey that has me here today, free from porn and as grateful as ever.
Yes, there is still struggle... This life will have trouble as it says in John 16:33! But today I get to enjoy an amazing sex life with my Wife, I am confident in myself, my work, and my abilities in the bedroom, and I am more energetic to enjoy my life to the fullest!
