Well that’s good news that you’ve ruled things out. I wish I had a magic answer but I basically followed Sarno's principles (repeatedly) and eventually I cared less and less about it and it faded away. I realized my nervous system was almost turned ‘on high’ and I think my body was trying to...
Hi - I can’t say for certain (and I know it’s recommended to see your doctor), but I had this years ago (my back felt like someone lit it on fire) and was convinced it was neurological. Long story short - once I let go of the fear and started living in spite of the pain it slowly disappeared...
Anyone have any experience with an internally rotated hip? I’ve been told my femur is rotated in (post partum) and I can physically see that my knee on one leg no kind of turns in... it makes it difficult to walk normally.
Trying to figure out if I have a structural issue as told to me, or if...
I can’t speak to the healing process but do your feet pronate? I don’t need orthotics for chronic pain, but I do pronate badly and roll my ankles without them...
Hi...
Whoops. I didn’t mean I wanted the pain. What I was trying to say is the reason I was posting here is in my gut I feel like this is an actual structural thing happening, but I was actually hoping it was tms - as I have overcome tms before (fibro type issues and tmj).
Before posting here...
Huh, crazy. I haven’t met anyone else who has gone through anything similar. I’m convinced what happened in pregnancy is ‘real’, but I am now thinking after a traumatic birth and post partum depression, maybe tms is piggybacking onto a real injury. Or at least making it worse.
I’m amazed that...
Thanks! The thing is...I totally believe in it. I used it about 5 years ago to cure awful back and neck pain. I was on disability from work, read the book and went back a few days later. It took a while to completely recover, but it worked. This just feels different I guess. And there is...
Wow ok. This is interesting. Thanks for sharing. See I’m struggling because I know what I had in pregnancy was structural. It’s a well known condition and I think something like 1/5 get it. I seemed to get a bad case though and couldn’t even lift my right leg when lying down or sitting, and...
Just popping in to say that I used to have terrible tmj pain. I would get migraines, jaw pain etc. And I was always so scared. I would sit there and move my jaw around and listen to the sounds it made. I would feel all the muscle knots. After I overcame tms for my back, the tmj stuff went too...
One more question for you - did your SI problems affect your gait at all? My right leg basically feels disconnected from my body and I feel unstable and twisted when I walk. It’s hard to explain. Was told it’s due to complications from a condition I had in pregnancy.
