    I’m done

Meds don’t do anything for me, I even tried tapentadol one week ago and it didn’t help, that’s why I’m so desperate. It’s insane,

    I’m done

Hey bro, yeah, I read The Great Pain Deception. By far the best TMS book out there in my opinion. I also watched all the success stories Steve uploads on YouTube in his “Wall of Victory” segment. I used to watch one every night to stay motivated. Everything you’re talking about like...

    I’m done

Do you really think that guy in the iron lung lived a good life? lol. I guess we have very different ideas of what a “good life” even is. What do you want me to say man, a life with intense pain every second of every minute of every day is not a life. I’m not saying I’ll abandon this approach...

    Merry christmas to chronic pain

What does it feel like to be a bat? The philosopher Thomas Nagel once asked this question in a famous essay (“What is it like to be a bat?”), an essay that has sparked endless debate and still does today. For me, the answer is simple: I have no idea. To truly know, you’d have to be a bat, or...

    I’m done

I think the TMS approach can make sense for moderate chronic pain, pain that moves around, or pain that comes and goes. But not for severe, constant pain. I’m talking about a 10 out of 10 that’s there 24/7 and makes you want to blow your head off. This whole idea that “trying to get rid of...

My pain just switched sides… and that’s the best news ever!

The rational part of my brain is trying to convince me that my right side hurts because I went for a run yesterday, but I know this isn’t a coincidence

My pain just switched sides… and that’s the best news ever!

I just wanted to share that I’m really happy today! I’ve been having a lot of pain on the right side of my lower back all day, when like 95% of the time it’s usually more on the left. The left side still hurts, but the fact that it shifted so clearly to the right today is solid proof that this...

Day 1 My last shot… I really hope this works! It has to!

Okay, I’d say my acceptance level right now is around 85 to 90 percent. Getting to 100 is tough because the pain feels so physical and is so constant and unbearable that a small part of me still wonders if something is physically wrong. But I’m working on it. I keep an “evidence list” with...

Has anyone else had constant, 24/7 back pain with no break at all?

Hey Monica! I’ve talked to so many people on Reddit that honestly don’t even remember having talked to you before haha, but I’m pretty sure we have. This year with all the chronic pain stuff has been wild. I’ve been reading, researching, and talking to so many people about it! it’s crazy. Thank...

Has anyone else had constant, 24/7 back pain with no break at all?

Wow! We’re both in the same battle. Wishing you a lot of strength!! Regarding your question, yes, 95% of the time my pain is in the same spot (lower back), but I also often feel it in the front of my hip (which makes no sense) and that just reinforces my idea that this is TMS.
