My Story
I have been living with back pain for 10+ years. MRI shows spinal stenosis and compressed discs. The pain has been increasing over time, and at times debilitating. I have noticed that it migrates up and down the back, into the hips and glutes and for a while tore down the side of one leg. I have been thoroughly examined by my primary care and also a physiatrist, who believe my pain is due to spinal stenosis.
I have tried acupuncture, inversion table, heat and cold, massage, Bowen therapy, physical therapy and chiropractic. As well as pills, creams, and a TENS unit.
My personal history and personality align neatly with the typical TMS patient as described by Dr. Sarno. I accept his ideas, and I accept that this is what I need. I'm ready to stop with this pain game my unconscious mind has been playing with me! - Loading...
