Who is the Inner Bully, really?

I 100% wholeheartedly agree with you. Guys I’ve spoken to that have gotten better from the same thing as me did so without knowing about TMS, I actually told them about it while asking if it would be good, and they basically said to just get on with life, say screw it, and do the things you...

Who is the Inner Bully, really?

Forest, do you still agree with your assessment here? How does someone know if all they need is to feel their emotions in the moment, have some outcome independence, stay positive etc. vs if they need to dig into those deep repressed emotions and treat them?

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

So basically just think about those past events that cause us grief/anger/etc and just let what wants to happen, happen? -Cry if my body wants to, slam my fist if it wants to, groan if it wants to, etc? -is that it? Just think about what’s causing me these emotions I’ve been avoiding and see...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

When you say repressed emotions, is that like in the movies where the main character is sitting in a physiologist’s office and after a while has an epiphany where they realize he/she was abused? Or do you mean memories we can clearly remember, but just try not to think about because it causes...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

I’m in the process of listening to Claire Weekes’ audiobook. Really good and hits home so far. The nerves book. Also found your YouTube videos and have started them just now. So for journalspeak, I’ll check it out, but you give your thoughts and somehow you get through to your repressed...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

Awesome! Thanks a ton. Yes I typed out the Let Time Pass explanation poorly. I meant to say it how you said it. I meant Let Time Pass (as in days and months) while doing the other steps. As in Let Time Pass overtime, not just during the other steps. I’m going to continue the therapist...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

That was an amazing post. Thanks for taking the time on this. Just so you know I’m not poking holes, I’m actually using your willingness to converse as a way to bulletproof my belief. Have been to multiple urologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, CT Scans, MRIs, XRays, Pelvic floor...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

No that was great. About your original post: you mention that the brain redirects our anxiety into pain, but Alan says that pain and anxiety are both danger signals in the brain. I’m confused as to whether they’re equals or if anxiety is distracting us from pain. Because I don’t have pain, I...

New Program Day 17: Leaning in to Your Feelings

how do you know when the anxiety is helping you or when it’s just more anxiety. How do you know you’re leaning into it in a good way?

    Derek S. pudendal neuralgia

Yes I’ve found some of them, thanks for the suggestion. It is a very bizarre symptom that tms gives us isn’t it? I hadn’t seen much of people saying they had the specific symptom of numbness in the penis, and then getting better from it, so I just wanted to make sure I had something that is tms...

    Derek S. pudendal neuralgia

Awesome man. Thanks. I never did buy into the nerve entrapment theory. I was more so treating it as a muscular issue for a few years until I spoke with a few people who got better and attributed it to being more psychosomatic. It’s always reassuring to hear someone getting better with tms...

    Derek S. pudendal neuralgia

I don’t have ED or genital pain but I do have genital numbness and less size, indicating a lack of blood flow. Anybody with tms experience this symptom? It’s known in a smaller pelvic floor community as “hard flaccid”.

New Program Day 6: The Fear Matrix

For those speaking of pelvic pain, or I suppose anything else, I have genital numbness as opposed to pain, nerve pain, itching, sitting pain etc. I believe this very well could be TMS. I haven’t seen a whole lot of mentioning of numbness when it comes to TMS, and I imagine part of the reason...
