    on the brink, last try

Yes, let's. :) One last thing I should mention... I know this round of journaling the JournalSpeak way is different. It is doing something. I am accessing the emotions at a deeper level than ever before. It is a process, though, as Nicole says. The increase in symptoms is the brain's way of...

    on the brink, last try

I understand your frustration. Believe me, you are not alone. All of the things you are saying, though, now that's the stuff I'd be JournalSpeaking about. Just let it rip, like Nicole says. I watch a lot of Dr. Gabor Mate talks and have read his books. Are you familiar with him? I believe he...

    on the brink, last try

What are our other options, Eskimo? What else is there? I am the TMS personality to the nth degree. I have tons of conflicting feelings about my parents and other family members and lots of stress. Doctors never find anything wrong with me. The TMS diagnosis is the only thing that fits. So I...

    on the brink, last try

No, I have not. Honestly, I feel so embarrassed to say that because I have been around so long, but it is what it is. I was doing better, but there has been a lot of turmoil and a state of limbo in my life for the past 2 1/2 years and things have ramped up. No one said this was going to be a...

    on the brink, last try

I, too, had been EXTREMELY frustrated, but I believe wholeheartedly in TMS healing. Then I found her videos one night when she first started posting them. I watched them in order and began the journaling the next day. I still listen regularly to encourage me while I do the work. I have done...

Have you journaled the JournalSpeak way as Nicole Sachs teaches at her YouTube channel The Cure for Chronic Pain?

    Journaling Topics

I made my list according to how Dr. Sarno instructs, as given by Nicole Sachs in her videos and book...three columns on a paper with the headings: Childhood, Daily Life, and Personality. In the childhood one, I started from as far back as I could remember and went from there listing everything...

May I ask you a favor? BOOK REVIEW

Thank you for those encouraging words, Nicole! xoxo Your videos and book have given me so much hope. BR - I have also been at this TMS stuff for a long while, 4 1/2 years to be exact, and have done it all. I feel like now, though, with the JournalSpeak (and believe me I have done plenty of...

May I ask you a favor? BOOK REVIEW

Sorry! I was editing my post to include that probably at the same time you were responding. I started journaling like this 10 1/2 weeks ago. I found her how-to videos right after they went up, but right before that I found her website and the quote at the bottom of the home page had me hook...

May I ask you a favor? BOOK REVIEW

From what I've heard, that can be normal, and I, too, have been having the same experience. But I'm not giving up because I can tell I'm accessing some deep stuff. I've been at this for 10 1/2 weeks and not giving up.

    Doctor John E. Sarno

I love this little clip! Saw it a few weeks ago for the first time and watched it over and over. The beginning is great where he says, "Didn't you hear those people say how long it took them...a long, long time? It's only a problem if you don't understand that not everybody is the same. That's...

I think I have tms but I hold on to physical pain

Remember the study Dr. Sarno mentions in The Mindbody Prescription where they took 98 people without back pain and MRI'd their backs. 65 of them had an abnormality...but NO BACK PAIN.
