My Story
I read John Sarno's book on Healing Back Pain after my friend informed me her father in law had pain and it "went away from this book". I was intrigued!
I don't know how much I've spent on chiros, physios, osteos and massages. My x-ray and MRI scans are all clear. All I have been informed is that possibly my back and ab muscles are weak and there isn't much movement in my lower back (where my discomfort is).
On thing to point out which I am SO grateful for is that I am NOT in pain. I have been in major discomfort for the last 4 years. Best way to explain my discomfort is that it feels like there's a condtant dull aching sensation and it feels like my lower back is overly arched, as though it may snap (backwards). Curling into a ball brings such relief most of the time.
My whole life is centred around my back, holidays, my work commute, constantly get up from my desk at work etc. It started at the age of 24 and I am now 27. I've always 'had enough'. I'm looking at the TMS approach with optimism as that's all I have left! - Loading...
