    In my 20-s, after I had felt terribly disappointed in someone I trusted, I experienced terrible collics. After all those years, I can still recall the words of my MD: "You've got IBS, and you will probably still have these bouts when you are 65, and then you think youI have cancer... But that will not be the case." And he was right, I still have the occasional bout of IBS, but never as strong as that first time.
