In July last year, I had a urinary infection and after 2 weeks the pain became intense, I went to several urologists, took several antibiotics and the pain lasted until the last urologist told me that I had chronic prostatitis and gave me an antibiotic to take for 4 weeks but the pain lasted until I went to the pain doctor and he told me that I had inflammation pain in the pudendal nerve, he gave me medication for the pain but the pain continues to this day, will my diagnosis be Stm if nothing works?

Hello @HugoPorfírio1 and welcome to the forum.

Indeed, many people, both male and female, have recovered or found significant relief from all kinds of pelvic/pudendal symptoms by adopting the mindbody approach. You can use our Search function for different keywords, which I did using "prostatitis", and using the "more" options to limit the search only to our Success Stories subforum. Here are the search results (choose the second tab "results only from our forum):
Search Results for Query: prostatitis | TMS Forum (The Mindbody Syndrome) (tmswiki.org)

Here is a success story that matches yours regarding prostatitis and being given antibiotics:
My recovery from Chronic (and debilitating) Pelvic Pain/PN | TMS Forum (The Mindbody Syndrome) (tmswiki.org)

Welcome to the forum! I am a female, but did find my way here due to pelvic pain and frequent urination. I have been lucky enough to not have had significant bladder pain, but was worried in the past about pudendal neuralgia among other diagnoses that are commonly assigned to that region of the body.

You can rest assured there are many success stories on the forum regarding pelvic pain - I remember seeing prostatitis mentioned a lot in posts and books as being a TMS condition for men. I think a lot of people find their way here after the doctors visits, tests, and treatments fail to resolve their pain...which for many is a big indication that the pain could be TMS.

Alan Gordon's Pain Recovery Program on this site has one section (New Program - Day 3: Identifying the Source | TMS Forum (The Mindbody Syndrome) (tmswiki.org)) that asks a list of questions that can help you become more confident that what you have is TMS...I remember feeling assured after seeing that my answer to many of those questions was yes. It might help you too if you are still in the stage of determining whether you believe that your pain is TMS.

    • Do you have multiple symptoms?
    • Do you have a history of anxiety?
    • Did the pain come on during a stressful time in your life?
    • Was there an initial injury or did the pain come out of nowhere?
    • Are the symptoms inconsistent?
    • What other diagnoses have you been given?
    Good luck to you!
