Essentially, you get stuck in Fight/Flight/Freeze He writes of tension the T of your muscles the M and a lack of oxygen (which is now considered acting a little differently than Sarno first theorized). This super short film explained these mechanisms. Sarno (Schubiner, Gordon and others) further explains in their teachings how some of this is created and persists. When I feel stuck, it’s a good little review to remind myself - this is how I was created and it’s not my fault I am here..but I need to do the work to break free. The opposite of fear is love, so finding your way out has to be done with more heart and less brain.
