A doctor told me I had minor depression. This was after undergoing a neurological workup. I had told him of suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, pain, paranoia, etc. I was having bad vertigo, tinitus, and visual stars as well. I just was offended that he wanted me to take an SSRI when I really felt I needed more bipolar and pain management help. I has since been diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury ( which makes sense because I had a terrible head injury during car crash). The TBI diagnosis and medicine helped alot with extreme psychotic episodes I was having. But the pain and fear did not go away until I diagnosed myself with TMS and started reading the literature.
