I would just like to ask. I write a diary and follow the TMS program. But I feel sadness and I often feel a lot of anger towards myself and people especially from childhood as I uncover some traumas. Will this condition improve over time and during the course of the program? By feeling sadness, anger from things that happened to me in my childhood, will this be a less painful over time, or will I have to learn to live with this sadness?

I mean, by feeling the feelings, the mind stops creating pain as it no longer needs to, so physical discomfort go away, but will this psychical discomfort go away with time?

    Hi Pavel:
The recommended way to write for TMS is not to keep a diary.
It is the write without any kind of guard, not to correct spelling or grammar - to just write whatever comes into your head, even if it's a big scribble (I close my eyes when do it!). When you are done, sit with the feelings that it brings up and then rip up your paper and throw it away.
Many people speak of increased "negative" emotions such as sadness, grief, anger, frustration and even a big mix up of all these emotions. Just let it come, do not "push" away this feeling and see if you can actually feel the sensations of this sadness in your body. Others feel an increase in states of mind like anxiety, or depression.
I can say that they do pass, but you must give it time and not worry about it at all. Don't think much about it - and just try to focus your mind on things you like (or used to like) because you will again.
I had quite severe depression and extremely high anxiety. These eventually lifted. Sure, on occasion they try to visit me again, but I just let them be.
You might enjoy reading a book by Claire Weekes. Her books are specifically written for anxiety, but honestly, they deal with many emotions and mindset - and they are wonderful. She gives explicit directions on what to do.

@Cactusflower thank you for your answer and tips on how to proceed. It helps to hear this from someone who has been through it.

I'm bookmarking that response, @Cactusflower! It's a really good description of the process and the goals of expressive writing/journalspeak/journaling.
