A Cherokee elder was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said
to them, " a fight is going on inside me...it is a terrible fight
between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, lies, false pride,
    superiority and ego.

The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope,
sharing, kindness, serenity, humility, friendship, empathy,
    generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person."

The children thought about this for a minute and then one child asked,
    "Which wolf will win, Grandfather?"

The old Cherokee replied simply..."The one you feed."

    with grace and gratitude,
    ^_^

Lily Rpse, that Cherokee chief was a wise man.
I love wisdom in the form of folk tales, like Jesus gave us in parables.

I quote from several Indian chiefs in my book with Herbie which is finished
and will be available in a week or two.

They had a lot to say about faith and living in the present.
