    Hi everyone!

My name is Emily and for 4.5 years, I lived with chronic pain and symptoms that moved throughout my body. During that time, I received many different diagnoses and experienced symptoms in multiple areas, including:
    • Cubital tunnel syndrome
    • Golfer’s elbow (both arms)
    • Small fiber neuropathy
    • Nerve pain, burning, tingling throughout my body
    • TMJ disorder
    • Burning mouth syndrome
    • Inner knee pain and swelling
    • Proximal hamstring tendinopathy (sit bone pain)
    • Plantar fasciitis (both feet)
    • Sciatica
    • Piriformis syndrome
    • Low back
    • Hip pain
    • Headaches and migraines
    • Raynaud’s disease and chilblains
    • Rashes
    • And many other shifting symptoms and symptom imperatives along the way
Like many people here, I spent years searching for structural answers and trying different treatments, yet the symptoms continued to spread and worsen. Everything changed when I discovered the TMS (mindbody) approach.

Once I began applying this work consistently and understood the brain-based nature of my symptoms, my pain and symptoms resolved quickly. What had felt permanent turned out to be totally reversible. The only thing I had to do was remove the danger signals my brain was responding to and protecting me from.

Today, I live completely pain and symptom-free and have my life back.

If you’d like to hear my full recovery story in detail, you can watch/listen to it here:

I now guide others toward the same resolution and freedom I experienced. If you’re looking for support or guidance, you’re welcome to reach out to me on Instagram:

How would one apply graded exposure when pain is present regardless of the position they are in?
If there is no what you'd call neutral base camp to start from?
How does one train their brain then?
Or in situations like this do you not need to practice graded exposure at all?
I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
A clear answer would be wonderful.
Also do you take men on your programme or only women?

Why is it people never respond?

You posted this question barely a day ago lol.

Could you do anything to lessen your response to pain? Meaning not changing the intensity of the pain itself but your relation to it.

I’m not sure I understand. How ‘have you done’ a that. I said id tried everything when i came here and it turned out i hadnt. it had been a year since i read a ton of tms books and done the tms work.

So how exactly ‘have you done’ everything? Arent you still trying? What are you asking from us?

I asked the question simply to the girl in the success story. Thats what I wanted to know. Not sure why you are getting annoyed.

Ive tried lots of things to heal. To be honest im stuck.
. Ive read all the books
    . Ive done somatic tracking
    . Ive done the SEP
    . Ive done the journalling
    . Ive done meditation
    . Ive done breathwork

I have tried numerous things for a period of time.

Now im at a bit of loss as to what the answer is.

I wasnt getting annoyed. Youre quite snappy yourself.

    For me:

At first i did these things to get better. Later when i noticed it didnt work, i started doing these things because theyre good for me. I did them because i wanted to be good and kind to myself.

With ‘have done’ youre implying you currently arent doing these things. Maybe your tms was just a way to get you to change your ways. Bear in mind we dont know your entire story and not everyone can respond to you inmediately. I just responded to you because i wanted to see if i can help.

I know how desperate you might feel, but know that theres always changes and improvements you can make. Perhaps you are as snappy towards yourself as you are to others…

I am not actively checking comments on here but am responsive on Instagram (thank you Adam and Mani). I do not recognize your username unless it's different there. If you are interested in my coaching services, you are welcome to reach out there. For me to answer what may still be contributing, I will need to know more detail about you and your story.

There’s something incredibly yucky about someone coming here posting a success story as pretty much an ad, and charging extortionist rates for coaching. No idea how you can go through this and hide your cultivated wisdom behind a gross paywall.

capitalism has made fools of us all.

I really dont wanna put a price tag on other peoples services but I think monetizing the sick should be done extremely carefully. Ive always appreciated dr Schubiner because he never tried to extort me for his knowledge. But you know, thats cuz hes too busy actually being a doctor.

On the other hand, if someone wants to pay then who am i to judge…

Anyhow, tms is a shit ton of work for the sufferer – absolutely not a quick or easy fix –and I’d feel awful about myself if I scammed someone out of 4 grand without actually treating them succesfully.

Btw yesterday i stared into a candlelight for 20 minutes and it was an interesting experience. I’ll do another round right now

I just couldn’t fathom getting to the other side of this, and having someone approach me in desperation seeking help, and hiding my support behind a paywall equivalent to months of rent or a year of groceries. When I worked in private practice in veterinary medicine it was a daily occurrence that people couldn’t afford services, and I was powerless to do anything meaningful. It was shame inducing. We’re all collectively holding up a monstrous system.

I’m all for fair wages/rates for fair work, this doesn’t strike me as that.

If you want to make a separate post too with your questions (can disregard my personal message), as you can see there are plenty of people willing to help you here :)

I guess to help as many people as possible, you have to ask for money because you need to sustain yourself.

I felt Nicole Sachs was also heavily monetizing this tms business. I personally have gripes with it although like you say i havent been on the other side.

I think selling a book for 15-20 usd is the most ethical way.

Subscription of 10-20 bucks a month is fine too.

Then like dan buglio he asks 100 usd a month for just unpersonal group calls.

Therapists in my area cost 100-150 an hour too but they actually do in person consults.

What value does a Dan Buglio group call telling you you shouldnt be afraid actually bring? I mean if you didnt get the gist after he posted thousands of videos, i doubt a call would suddenly help you.

Nicole Sachs too like everything is behind a paywall. She has done podcasts too but that might as well just be advertising for the real ‘value’.

But like with Nicole Sachs there is this Journalspeak youth whatever behind a 50 usd paywall. Like really? You wanted to help gen z so bad you make them pay 50 bucks for one video? Why not just post it on youtube then? Maybe ive just grown sour and cynical but i think just monetizing every fart is bad

I dont really know what the alternative is. No one is coming to save us anyway, we shouldnt be expecting anyone to.

Boo to aggressively monetizing the sick

    Oh yeah:

I do understand that a higher threshold keeps your services available to those that ‘want it most’. If dan buglio would offer it at 10 a month those group calls would get unruly

Hmm, i dont have the answer. Im just a bitter and sick individual

I think having this messiah type subscription is weird anyway. Like fuck I get help from the lovely folks here but I still have to do this shit myself — no magic words. The first thing these ‘direct access to nicole sachs’ subscriptions should say is that you need to STOP relying on others. Yes we need each others help but Nicole or Dan arent just gonna wave their magic wand.

Just to hijack this thread to with my own issues (and relying on others ‘hehe’):

I just had a rough day with sounds and i immediately feel my hope is dwindling and i just start feeling a little anxious again. Rationally I know that there will also be a better day once more but i still just feel a bit helpless when my body decides to fight back. I also notice that when jts caused by sounds, it bothers me more than when its just stress. I think its this feeling that sounds can cause ‘lasting’ setbacks whilst stress only temporarily lowers tolerance.
