  • My Story

30 years of back pain and acute muscle spasms. Went down all the usual medical routes until in desperation had 2 lower discs replaced about 8 years ago. Had some slight relief from the constant pain but spasms continued bringing their own severe pain.
Came across Dr Sarno's books about 5 years ago and was more or less 90% to 95% cured in about 3 months.
Unfortunately the back spasms have recently returned with some vengeance. They appear in the morning about a minute or two after getting out of bed and the pain is quite intense. The only way to relieve it is to walk and exercise for about 30 minutes which is very difficult because of the crippling pain.
Have now started the SEP and hope that may help. Quite possibly I may need psychotherapy but there are few if any experts where I live(in Africa).
