Hello from France. I started to have sciatic pain in January. A friend discovered Dr. Sarno. I watched videos and understood I have TMS. Apr 11, 2019

Hi, since mid January of this year I have been suffering from sciatic nerve pain in the right leg.
That appeared starting with a mild pain in the buttock muscle and inscreased as days went on, to the point of not being able to sleep.
The pain is there espacially at night, laying, and also sitting. No problem to walk or do sport (skiing, climbing).
I also have a stage 4 lung cancer so I had MRI in february to check that the pain was not due to tumoral activity.
The diagnosis was that it was a buldging disk in the lower back. So the doctor (a spine specialist) prescribed a corset and physiotherapy. The pain was horrible at night and I could hardly sleep.
BTW, in the cancer context, I can't take pain killers because they are toxic for the liver.
The mid march a friend found out about Dr. Sarno and sent me some links. I watched it and thought I had TMS, that same day, I had a good new regarding the cancer treatment. Almost imediatly as I watched the links 98% of the pain vanished. And that for about 12 days, it was like being raised from the dead ! Then I was anxious for some things regarding my cancer treatment and some pain came back, mild at the begining then it increased to this day, some nights are better than others but it is tiring and bad in general ... I fear going to bed wondering how will the night be. I listen to videos and music during the night when the pain won't allow me to sleep but it is very tiring and I am fed up.
I hope to be able to get rid of that pain for good !
Also I must add that the pain appeared in the first place the same day after I had a fist trauma detachment session (as I believe that the cancer I have as emotional cause since I was never sick - except from pollen allergy and eczema sometime which is clearly emotional - non smoking, never exposed to special pollution or radon gaz or amiante or any of the referenced causes for lung cancer, and some months before the diagnosis, an event happened that was very violent emotionnaly).
So It seems clear to me that the pain must be TMS but I would like to have a doctor to confirm the diagnosis.
