  • My Story

Since I’ve learned about TMS, it’s clear that most of my mothers multiple illnesses she’s had since I was a child are mind body pain. I’ve vowed I would never be like her, and yet here I am. 15 years of stuffing down my emotions finally caught up with me. This is after years of therapy, starting when I was eight years old, after parents divorced. Alan’s comment about self therapy being like cutting your own hair was very on point! You can do it, but there’s a lot you can’t see. So I’m eager to personally transform and be rid of the pain too. I’d love to talk to others whose TMS manifests as G.I. problems.
