Richard Harris, PhD

Richard Harris, Ph.D. is a Research Assistant Professor, in the Department of Anesthesiology of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. In 1992 he graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Genetics, and then went to UC Berkely where he received his doctorate in molecular and cellular biology in 1997. Harris studied the rhythmic properties of neural cultures in a post-doctoral fellowship at NIH. In 2009 he gave a presentation entitled “Neurophysiology of Mood and Chronic Pain” at the first TMS Conference held in 2009.
