Helping create the Structured Educational Program

Jump to: navigation, search

This educational program is designed to help give voice to regular people who have recovered from TMS and want to help others do the same.

One way for people who have recovered from TMS to participate is to join the Patient Advisory Panel. This involves being on a low traffic mailing list, setting a goal of reading all of the program materials, and providing feedback. It requires a time commitment of about 20-30 minutes every 3 days.

Members of the Patient Advisory Panel may also become writers for the program. Specifically, you can

  1. write out the web page for a specific day of the program,
  2. provide a "Advice for Someone Starting the Journey" essay, written under your own user name and in your own voice, to be used as a piece of reading material in the program,
  3. provide a "Sharing My Experience" essay about what it was like for you to do some of the activities in the structured program when you were recovering from TMS.
