[edit] Time differences due to Daylight Savings Time:

We often hold teleconferences involving people living both in the UK and the US. In general, UK time and US time are off by exactly 5 hours (i.e. when it is 3PM in the US, it is 8PM in the UK). However, due to Daylight savings time, that formula can be off during late March and between late October and early November.

When DST begins:

US: second Sunday of March (at 2 AM)

UK: last Sunday in March (at 1 AM)

When DST ends:

US: first Sunday of November (at 2 AM)

UK: last Sunday in October (at 1 AM)
