Day 16 Working the stuctured program slower than I would like

    I'm on Day 16 of the program, although I think I've been at this for over 1.5 months. I've learned a lot about my hidden feelings of anger, and the great degree of stress I subject myself to. I just haven't been driven enough to do the assigned lessons each day, as some days throw me for a loop and I'm pretty much offline for a week it seems. At any rate, I just wanted to reach out. My pain is definitely situational, and bound to emotion. And I'd really, really like to figure out how to feel those emotions rather than the pain. I've been seeing a therapist...

    I wouldn't worry about going slowly. You need to go at the pace you are going at. I'm glad to hear you're seeing a therapist--do you like him/her?

    Have you tried Monte's "sitting with emotions"? I do it on an as-needed basis and I really find it a helpful way to just experience emotions rather than analyze them. http://www.tmshelp.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6687
