I feel sometimes too tired and need naps. I feel sometimes like my mind is not in its place, like cloudy and mentally I feel drained a lot.

Have you experienced this and what to do about it?

There could be so many reasons for this.

It could be your diet, your stress level, nutrient deficiency, hormonal issues, adrenal function, sleep pattern, TMS, and more.

If you put your hand over a hot stove and you hand begins to feel a burning sensation, is that TMS?

If you drink 10 cups of coffee or 10 cans of beer, the way your brain feels after that, is that TMS?

    Not everything is TMS.

We are complex being and need to look at all possible causes and solutions, including TMS.

You might be lacking vitamin B12

    Or need more magnesium

or too much carbs in your diet

or it could be a thyroid issue.

See it as a journey of discovery and see where it leads.

It could be you lack iron. I regularly get my blood checked and I have had bouts of anemia so my doctor prescribes me folivate, which is a supplement. I also try to eat more meat. I can tell the difference in my energy level when I get more iron.

thanks for replying! I thought if we think of too much carbs in a diet it can be tms? like if we go to zero carbs to check thats tms?

does eating meat alone resolves the issue?

You can try to eat more red meat, spinach, beans etc. and take over the counter iron pills (may cause constipation) and see how you feel.
It all depends on how low your iron level is. Mine can go down to 6 and increase to 14, which is the normal level. I get more tired around my periods so I eat red meat to compensate. You can always ask your doctor for a blood check to know where you’re at!

Does this happen when you have pain or separately?
I get really tired dragging my body around, and have associated anxiety breathing, anxiety...I looked at some of this as defense mechanism. Is there something you are avoiding? Think about it and treat it as TMS for a bit. Perhaps try some Somatics or meditation and as yourself if there is some need you are not attending to and then sit with yourself, see if an answer comes?
