One of the powerful affects of this project is that it creates opportunities for discussing the importance of recognizing emotional factors across all aspects of health care - not just pain.

Our hope is that it will help all of you communicate with others about the issues you've faced. The folks at TMS WIKI have been the biggest drivers of this campaign, and they also run Thank You Dr Sarno. Both are great resources for connecting with others interested in these topics.

Michael has been writing a lot about his own journey for the last few years on our blog. We'll share some of these links each day. There are dozens of very personal pieces written over the course of many years, and if they resonate with you please share others who may be interested.

Here is one with Dr. Gabor Mate discussing Core Beliefs.

Learn how meditation helped Michael at the dentist.

Today's update focuses on a discussion wtih Dr. Dennis Turk, who helped run a major National Institute of Health study that defined pain as a disease in and of itself.

One of the amazing things about Kickstarter is that every backer helps to grow the project's reach exponentially. One of the best ways to make that happen is by sharing the project, the updates, and links to our website and blog.

Please keep sharing! It would be amazing to make our goal by Thanksgiving!! Please share with family and friends too!

Caroline, the Dr. Turk video is great. You're getting wonderful input from TMSers on how they
learned about Sarno and TMS and how it helped them deal with their symptoms.
You're doing a great job shepherding us all to the documentary web sites.
