I have had chronic severe pain in my left leg below the knee and in my behind on and off for 10 years. It flairs up when I walk on hard surface floors, concrete, humid conditions, cold windy weather.

    Hi EllieMae,

Welcome to the Forum and the SEP! Most chronic pain is TMS, so I'm glad you've found this method, and that you're engaging in the SEP.

As you may know, this is a correlation, created by habit of mind, not the root cause of pain. It may be helpful, when you're dealing with these triggers to make some kind of supportive statement, repeated to yourself. Something like:
"This hard surface is a trigger for my sensations, not the cause. I am safe."

Good luck in your work and keep us posted, ask questions.

    Andy
