Anxiety drug vs meditation

Here is another interesting study on the subject. Conclusion, as they diplomatically put it: meditation is "noninferior to escitalopram for the treatment of anxiety".

We need to get to the root of our anxieties - not just medicate them...... that way we can be free of them - hopefully! Also we need to ensure our vit B5 is all at a good level - as that can cause anxiety too!

 

They really go out on a limb there. Noninferior? Not a term I've ever seen used before. Why not "equal to"?

 

My guess is they don't want to offend the drug maker :=)
