What doctors have told me...I have been seeing doctors and physical therapists, etc for years for a variety of symptoms. I used to play golf a lot. My back hurt, my elbows, wrists, hands and neck hurt. I thought it HAD to be from playing too much golf. It made total sense to me. Most recently I was told I had a torn rotator cuff in my right should from pitching baseballs to my son, made sense. Then my left should started to hurt. Torn RC? I am right handed. How could my left shoulder be torn? Then my neck started to really hurt. I was told my c7 T1 was herniated. It never dawned on me that it could be something else. Just bad luck I guess! Then, I ran into a friend about 2 months ago, who told me about his friend who read Dr Sarno's books and helped him with his back issues. I ordered the book and that is how I started my journey discovering TMS.
