  • My Story

This is Day 1 for me, but I accepted this diagnosis nearly a month ago when I noticed my pain was moving around and I read Dr. Sarno's book. Since then I have been doing guided meditation and journaling. It has definitely helped and confirms the diagnosis, but it seems I still need to get to some more of the "root cause" of my pain. Surface level stressors have been identified and addressed, but as I educate myself and listen to stories, I find myself going deeper and uncovering some fears and anger I didn't know I had.

I wake up every morning wondering if today is the day I am pain free. When it isn't, I remind myself that I am one day closer to being so! Thank you to everyone who has and still does contribute to this website...nice to know we are not alone in this battle!
