  • My Story

I was leading a happy go lucky life after a debauchery filled action packed youth. I was a self employed finish carpenter. While building a shelf my right hip suddenly exploded with stabbing pain. from then on I would get sharp stabbing upon the slightest movement in a particular way I never got a real answer about what was wrong with my hip from the professionals, but after years of chiropractors, massage, acupressure and so forth it settled into a rare stab and a dull ache that gets so sore from work that I'm often on the verge of tears at work. TMSWIKI is definitely working. As much as I work it though.
My busy life is the main block. I'm a natural food lover. I vegetable garden, cook mostly from scratch and I mostly make my own yogurt, bread, and sometimes fig butter, sauerkraut, and pickled garden goodies, all while working 12 hours a day!! Usually my schedule is peppered with days off. So I do have a little time for these activities. I'm also a singer, guitarist, funny and creative and love to get people rolling with laughter or tearing up from a ballad. I have always wanted to make this my career but have so far mired myself in life's common conditions. Family and the subsequent need to make a decent living have driven me far from these dreams. Something in me makes it extremely hard for me to follow threw with the necessary hard work. My talent seem to spring forth spontaneously and I have a hard time raining it in.
Recently I've been feeling like my body is falling apart in mind, body and spirit. Mostly body. I hurt my shoulder(torn labrum). My hips and legs always feel weak and I find it impossible to sit more then 10 minutes.
At least until I discovered Dr John Sarno. I am now learning more about the Mind/Body connection, tmswiki, and all the others who practice, and prescribe to this work. My low back is remarkably better. I'm amazed at how I can talk the pain down with logic and introspection. I even feel my spirit being uplifted by the new possibilities of a pain free life. I feel some sanity easing it's way back in too.dancea Stay tuned!
